HI MY NAME IS MEGAN CHARLOTTE MECKLEY . . .
I received my AA in Communications Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology Cum Laude with honors from the Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society, and recently completed the Pratt Institute School of Design's Exhibition Design summer intensive in 2022 and the INSIDE LVMH Certificate program, specializing in Creation & Branding, Retail & Customer Experience in 2023. I am currently working to complete the Spatial Experience Design BFA program at the Fashion Institute of Technology and recently began interning with Ralph Lauren as their Home and Apparel Showrooms Intern in New York City.
Coming from Seattle, I ran all aspects of my independent creative agency Megan Charlotte Design, partnering with clients such as Lyft for their 2019 Women in Tech Conference, executing a large-scale installation in San Francisco. Then during my time as the Executive Coordinator for CEO and repeat NYT bestselling author, Judah Smith, I designed and conceptualized spaces and lounges for special events. There I was also able to holistically redesign an entire office space of over 50 individual offices while coordinating with the finance and executive teams and staying within budget constraints; which supported the four promotions I received over the course of four years with the team. Through these experiences I have developed proven attention to detail skills, teamwork skills, and role flexibility while operating under tight budget and time constraints, as well as key technical tool experience such as Adobe AI, PS, ID, XD, DW, SketchUp, Twinmotion, Rhino, AutoCAD, and MS Office Suite.
